Leadership and society for exemple of Soviet Union during the stalinism

Celem pracy jest zaprezentowanie wpływu przywództwa na społeczeństwo w systemie totalitarnym. Podstawowym polem badawczym był przypadek Związku Socjalistycznych Republik Radzieckich w okresie panowania Józefa Stalina (1929-1953). W rozdziale pierwszym przeanalizowano zjawisko przywództwa – jego genezę, rodzaje oraz wynikające z niego relacje wpływu i władzy. Ponadto, porównano cechy przywództwa w systemach demokratycznych i niedemokratycznych. Rozdział drugi zawiera najważniejsze wątki z biografii Józefa Stalina, które miały wpływ na ukształtowanie specyficznego typu totalitarnego przywódcy w systemie komunistycznym. Opisano także metody stosowane przez Józefa Stalina mające na celu zdobycie i utrzymanie władzy. Ostatni rozdział to analiza konsekwencji władzy przywódczej w społeczeństwie Związku Socjalistycznych Republik Sowieckich w okresie stalinizmu. Autor skupia się przede wszystkim na: mechanizmach mobilizacji mas, środkach przymusu mających na celu uzyskanie posłuchu oraz warunkach życia ludności. Zawiera także rozważania na temat obrazu stalinizmu w pamięci historycznej.

The main aim of this study is to present the impact of leadership on society in a totalitarian system. The main field of researches was the case of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics during the reign of Joseph Stalin (1929-1953). The first chapter examines the phenomenon of leadership - its origins, types, and the resulting impact and power relations. In addition, there were compared the characteristics of leadership in democratic and non-democratic systems. Chapter two contains the most important themes of the biography of Joseph Stalin, which had an impact on the formation of a specific type of totalitarian leader of the communist system. It also describes the methods used by Joseph Stalin to gain and maintain power. The final chapter is an analysis of consequences of government leadership in the society of the Soviet Socialist Republics during the Stalinist period. The author focuses primarily on: mechanisms of mobilization of the masses, coercive measures to obtain obedience and living conditions of the population. It also contains the consideration of the image of Stalinism in the historical memory.
