Changes in how pole dance is viewed due to appearances on tv talent shows

Niniejsza praca skupia się na ukazaniu problematyki jaką jest stereotypizacja w kontekście tańca pole dance. Pierwszy rozdział zawiera teorię związaną z istotą oraz pojęciem stereotypu. Drugi rozdział wyjaśnia problematykę tańca pole dance oraz jego podłoże historyczne, będące najważniejszym źródłem pejoratywnych skojarzeń. W rozdziale trzecim znajduje się analiza jakościowa siedmiu wybranych przez autorkę fragmentów programu typu talent show, które w szczegółowy sposób obrazują opisywane zjawisko.

This document focuses on presenting the issue which is the stereotypization in the context of the pole dance. First chapter includes the theory connected with the essence and the concept of the stereotype. Second chapter explains problematic aspects of the pole dance and its historic basis, which is the most common source of the pejorative connotations. Third chapter incorporates qualitative analysis of the seven parts of the tv talent show chosen by the author of this work, which depict the described phenomenon.
