Nursing model of child care after hypospadias surgery.

Spodziectwo jest jedną z najczęściej występujących wad wrodzonych układu moczowo-płciowego. W niniejszej pracy opisano anatomię układu moczowego oraz charakterystykę spodziectwa: epidemiologię, etiologię, patogenezę, klasyfikację, obraz kliniczny oraz wady towarzyszące. Przedstawiono metody leczenia, możliwości wystąpienia powikłań pooperacyjnych, wpływ spodziectwa na rozwój fizyczny i psychiczny dziecka. Wyjaśniono założenia teorii pielęgnowania według Dorothei Orem , którą wykorzystano do opracowania modelu pielęgnacyjnego nad dzieckiem po zabiegu spodziectwa. W modelu ukazano najważniejsze problemy zdrowotne i postępowanie leczniczo-pielęgnacyjne u dzieci operowanych z powodu spodziectwa.

Hypospadias is one of the most common of hereditary defects of genitourinary system. The paper contains the description of the anatomy of the genitourinary system and the characteristics of the hypospadias defect: epidemiology, ethiology, pathogenesis, classification and clinical picture. Other defects which are connected with hypospadias were also pointed-out. This document gathers the data about the procedures which should be taken by the medical personnel during the treatment, it also contains information about possible post-operative complications. The influence of the hypospadias defect on the children’s psychophysical development, and ideas of Dorothea Orem’s care theory which were used in order to create nursing model after the surgery of the child were also presented. The crucial health and nursing problems which may occur for children with the hypospadias defect were also shown in this model.
