As the development of digital technology has created a global interactivity, the internet lifted the word, or a graphic sign, into virtual space. This article is concerned with Polish cyber lyrics, a new branch of Polish contemporary literature. This new type of poetry is based on non-sequential organization of data, ie. texts that are broken up into fragments connected by various links and cross-references. This article examines the writing space (or lexis), smallest, indivisible portion of hypertext. in the context of the theories and concepts of Roman Bromboszcz, a leading Polish cyber poet.
