INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXPORTING DESCRIPTIONS FROM RUJ TO ORCID

1. Log in to the Repository and then search for descriptions of your publications by clicking on the upper left menu BROWSE→ Authors, and entering your name in the search box that will appear

2. Select all the descriptions and click the button export → BibTeX

NOTE: all the descriptions on the page will be downloaded to the file in BibTeX format; by default, 20 descriptions will be displayed on the page; if there are more descriptions under the author's name, it is advisable to extend the number of displayed descriptions before downloading

3. Before downloading, one should to pay attention to whether one really wants to download all the descriptions and possibly deselect the unwanted ones

4. In the next step, log in to ORCID and go to Works → Add works → Import BibTeX

5. Next click the button Choose file and select the file with publication descriptions in BibTeX format downloaded previously from the Jagiellonian University Repository

6. The descriptions after import must be saved; this can be done individually or by clicking the button Save all

7. The imported and approved descriptions appear in the author's ORCID account, where they can be edited or deleted at any time and the visibility mode can be set individually for each description
