Zaprezentowano modele komunikacji, podmioty komunikacji w szkole, ich potrzeby, narzędzia komunikacji oraz bariery komunikowania się i sposoby przeciwdziałania im. W końcowej części artykułu przedstawiono współzależności między komunikowaniem się w szkole a zarządzaniem szkołą.

Globalization, the birth of information society and particularly the emergence of educational market exposed public schools ( primary as well as gymnasiums) to free market forces. Now public and private schools operate basically in the same competitive environment. This pushed the public schools' managerial teams to adapt effective management tools and raised the signifcance of internal organizational communication. Caring for a valid system of communication in a public school contributes to the achievement of standards of training and education. Increase in communication competencies, the knowledge of communication barriers and ways of counteracting them means that schools rendering educational services will be able to cope more efficiently with their organizational and financial problems.
