Artykuł przedstawia metodę fenomenologii Jeana-Luca Mariona według nici przewodniej filozoficznych ćwiczeń duchowych i konwersji. Z jednej bowiem strony Marion nieustannie podkreśla rolę redukcji fenomenologicznej w procesie fenomenalizacji, z drugiej zaś strony wiąże ją z ostateczną zasadą donacji. Taka radykalizacja redukcji w służbie auto-donacji fenomenu daje możliwość interpretacji zasadniczego rysu jego metody jako ćwiczeń duchowych i konwersji, rozumianej jako przyjęcie warunków epistemologicznych stawianych raczej przez to co dane, niż przez podmiot transcendentalny metafizyki. Filozofia jako konwersja (ćwiczenie duchowe jako metoda) zakłada wcześniejszą konwersję filozofii (fenomenologia, jako filozofia pierwsza po śmierci metafizyki). Metoda staje się tu raczej pozbawioną wszelkiego a priori kontrmetodą, intencjonalność zostaje odwrócona w kontrintencjonalność, natomiast prawda osiąga trzeci stopień "prawdy erotycznej".

The article presents the method of Jean-Luc Marion’s phenomenology according to the guiding thread of the philosophical spiritual exercises and conversion. On the one hand Marion constantly emphasizes the importance of phenomenological reduction in the phenomenalization process, and on the other hand, he links reduction with the ultimate principle of givenness. Such a radicalization of the reduction in service of auto-givenness of the phenomenon makes it possible to interpret the basic feature of his method as spiritual exercises and conversion, understood here as the acceptance of epistemological conditions posed by the given, rather than by the transcendent subject of metaphysics. Philosophy as conversion (spiritual exercise as a method) presupposes an earlier conversion of philosophy (Phenomenology as the first philosophy after the death of metaphysics). Here the method becomes rather a counter-method devoid of any a priori, intentionality is turned into counter-intentionality, while the truth reaches the third degree of "erotic truth".
