The article combines K. Stopka's source text research (cf. the previous article in this year's issue of Lehahayer) with sources from the Great Duchy of Lithuania under Duke Svidrigailo. It proves that the Tyszkiewicz family, contrary to what its claims put forwards by some genealogy researchers, comes from Kalenik the Armenian, a land holder from the Ruthenian part of the Kingdom of Poland.
