Przedmiotem artykułu jest obecnie coraz częściej stosowany podwórkowy styl zarządzania informacją. Zostanie on potraktowany jako negatywne zjawisko w procesach zarządzania informacją. Celem opracowania jest prezentacja niedomagań tego procesu i stylu zarządzania. Informacja zostanie przedstawiona jako proces, który dostarcza informacje oraz jako rodzaj produktu. Diagnoza zarządzania informacją jako procesu i produktu ujawnia w tym stylu takie negatywne zjawiska, jak zawał informacyjny, zaleganie informacji, utajnianie informacji oraz jej dystorsję. Ubocznymi produktami są m.in. przeciążenie informacyjne, wieloznaczność informacji, anemia informacyjna i przekłamania informacyjne. Tekst zawiera odpowiednie rekomendacje dla obecnych i potencjalnych odbiorców informacji wytworzonej w toku takiego procesu i stylu zarządzania.

This article is on the "backyard style of management" that is more and more often applied to information management. Such a "style" will be rather treated as a negative development in the information management processes. The author's intention is to concentrate on the shortcomings of the management processes and styles. Information is presented as a process that delivers data as specific products. The author's diagnosis of the information management proces and product reveals such negative phenomena as information collapse, overdue information, data suppression, or information distortion. The side products of such actions include e.g. information overload, ambiguity, information deficiency or misstatements. The text includes certain recommendations for current and potential information receivers subjected to those specific management processes and style.
