| abstract in Polish: | Ewangeliarz aprakos zw. Ławryszewskim (Biblioteka Czartoryskich, cod. 2097 IV) powstał pod koniec XIII lub w pierwszej ćwierci XIV wieku w kręgu Rusi halicko-wołyńskiej na styku z kulturą zachodnią. Rękopis zawiera tekst 3 Ewangelii (wg Jana, Mateusza i Łukasza) oraz fragmenty Ewangelii wg Marka zapisane na 183 pergaminowych kartach (22x31 cm) w dwóch kolumnach skoropisem. W zestawie 18 miniatur znajdują się: całostronicowe wyobrażenie Archanioła Michała, portrety trzech ewangelistów Jana, Mateusza i Łukasza, figurę mnicha Hioba, cykl scen ewangelicznych oraz dwa epizody z bizantyńskiego romansu Barlaam i Jozafat. Stryl miniatur prezentuje generalnie rysy malarstwa pónokomnenowskiego. |
| abstract in English: | The Aprakos Gospels from Lawryshev monastery (now in the Czartoryski Library in Kraków, cod. 2097 IV) was produced in the end of the 13th or first quarter of the 14 th century in Galicio-Volhynian Russia, on the border of Orthodoxy and western states. The manuscript contains the text of the three Gospels (of the Evangelists John, Matthew and Luke) and the fragments of the Gospel of St Mark written in two columns in skoropis’ script on 183 parchment leaves (22 by 31 cm). In includes 18 miniatures: the full-page representation of the Archangel Michael, the portraits of the Evangelists John, Matthew and Luke in front of their texts, the figure of the Monk Job, the cycle of New Testament illustrations, two episodes from the Byzantine romance Barlaam and Ioasaph. An analyse of the miniatures, the typology of the images and the style of the painting, shows, that, together whit the special features of late Comnenian art. |
