dc.abstract.en This paper is based on the research, that has been conducted in 2008 mainly among Polish and Hungarian students, concentrating on analyze of T/V-pronouns and honorifi c titles usage. As the results show many of participants tried to omit one of above mentioned forms during the interaction, what has been mainly characteristic for Hungarian informers. Hungarian language shows more possibilities when choosing appropriate V-form, nevertheless Hungarian informers tend to omit some of them, choosing mainly only 3 rd person singular for V-form, or tend to use T-form, also in such a situation, when signifi cant majority of Polish informers uses V-form. Also as it turned out from the research among Hungarians increasingly spread various strategies for omitting V-form, and these are also analyzed in the paper. As it turns out Hungarians in some situations believe T-form to be more correct and safe than V-form, while Polish informers presumably would use V-forms. Also during the research usage of above mentioned forms has been analyzed in the group of Polish university students learning Hungarian as a second language pl
