abstract in English:
The object of the following paper is to analyse the feminine figure presented by Moacyr Scliar in his book O ciclo das águas, in an attempt to describe the way in which the main protagonist of the book breaks through the patriarcal scheme in order to find her own identity. Yet, being a victim of
a system that also defines her challenging and brave protest, her ability to undo what was done to her remains questionable. The recuperation of the body can only be achieved by entering again in the ocean of motherhood.
