abstract in English:
This article provides a comparative analysis of two postmodern novels written at the same time: Marek S. Huberath’s Nest of Worlds and Jean-Marie Laclavetine’s Première Ligne from the perspective of the "rogue books" model proposed by Maria Cieśla-Korytowska. The analyzed texts - inspired in a number of ways by Italo Calvino’s novel If on a winter's night a traveler and by Umberto Eco’s figures of the Model Author and the Model Reader - use mechanisms characteristic for the postmodern novel combined with the influential power of a-book-within-a-book narrative device. This, in turn, provokes questions about the persuasive dimension arouse in both novels.
