dc.abstract.en Karol Górski was the creator of personalistic pedagogy, which was introduced in the 1930s. The characteristic features of this are its Thomistic intellectualism and social aspects. The social aspect follows Górski’s anthropological presumptions, namely that all powers inherent in man (intellect, will, emotions) andhis entire spiritual dimension (especially freedom) not only enable him to function in society, but also appear as the source of the creation ofsocial space. A socially profiled personalistic educationist embedded in tradition, supported by one’s family and country, and orientated towards economic education. Górski draws upon the resolution of “the social question” to illustrate the basis for addressing other social issues with three basic principles (virtues) at its core: fairness, love and rightness. pl
