dc.abstract.en Kinetics of random sequential adsorption (RSA) of disks on flat, two-dimensional surfaces is governed by a power law with exponent −1/2. The study has shown that for RSA of nearly spherically symmetric particles this exponent is −1/3, whereas other characteristics typically measured in RSA simulations approach values known for disks with the increase of symmetry of the particles. pl
