W obecnych czasach przedsiębiorstwa poszukują coraz to nowszych metod osiągnięcia zyskówi zmniejszania kosztów. Bardzo popularne stało się outsourcowanie niektórych zadań lubfunkcji biznesowych i przekazywanie ich zewnętrznym odbiorcom. Dzięki temuprzedsiębiorstwa macierzyste mają szansę na rozwijanie swojej kluczowej działalności,wiedząc, iż pozostałe funkcje pomocnicze są realizowane przez specjalistów.Celem poniższej pracy była analiza wpływu koncepcji outsourcingu na działalność branżylotniczej. W ramach badań przeprowadzono studium przypadku na Europejskiej grupielotniczej IAG GBS (International Airlines Group Global Business Services). Przy użyciudokumentów danych zastanych (raportów firmy) oraz kwestionariusza ankiety możliwe byłoprzeprowadzenie tego badania. Pierwszy rozdział skupia się na przedstawieniu istotyoutsourcingu oraz jego zastosowaniu w zarządzaniu. Kolejna część dotyczy rodzajów inarzędzi outsourcingu. Ostatni rozdział teoretyczny opisuje proces outsourcingu w branżylotniczej. Część badawcza stanowi czwarty rozdział pracy i przedstawia wpływ outsourcinguna działalność grupy IAG oraz opinie jej pracowników na ten temat. Przedstawione wynikibadań pozwoliły na pozytywne stwierdzenie, iż branża lotnicza czerpie ogromne korzyści zewspółprac outsourcingowych i nadal będzie wykorzystywać tę metodę w swojej działalności.

Nowadays, companies are looking for newer and newer methods of achieving profits andreducing costs. It has become very popular to outsource certain tasks or business functions toexternal recipients. Thanks to this, parent companies have a chance to develop their corebusiness, knowing that the remaining support functions are performed by the specialists.The purpose of this work was to analyze the impact of the outsourcing concept on the activitiesin the aviation industry. As a part of the research, a case study was conducted on the European aviation group IAG GBS (International Airlines Group Global Business Services). With theuse of secondary data documents (company reports) and a questionnaire, it was possible toconduct this study. The first chapter focuses on the presentation of the essence of outsourcingand its application in management. The next part deals with the types and tools of outsourcing.The last theoretical chapter describes the outsourcing process in the aviation industry. Theresearch part is the fourth chapter presents the impact of outsourcing on the activities of theIAG group and the opinions of its employees on this subject. The presented research resultsallowed for a positive statement that the aviation industry derives great benefits fromoutsourcing cooperation and will continue to use this method in its activities.
