Abstract in English
The article aims to examine the literary construction of space in "Słoje zadrzewne" by Tymoteusz Karpowicz in three aspects: the real world, the bestiary and the artistic world (represented by the original - oryginał, the logical cliche - kalka logiczna and the artistic copy - kopia artystyczna). The analysis of poems reveals Karpowicz's tendency to search for a universal language, which would allow for more conscious cultural participation. These findings can contribute to further critical study of Karpowicz's poetry and works by other linguistic poets.
