abstract in English:
The purpose of this chapter is to present one of the forms of spirituality present in contemporary Ireland, which I term "Celtic spirituality". This chapter does not discuss the correctness of the quoted terms or the descriptions of "Celtic spirituality" which to a certain extent have been invented; but rather presents this phenomenon as it is described and perceived by those who refer to it. Comparisons of "Celtic spirituality" found in both the culture of the ancient Celts and in the contemporary New Age Movement are made and some explanations on similarities and differences are offered. Based on research carried out in Ireland, including field research, participation in events based on the concept of "Celtic spirituality" and interviews with Catholic and neo-pagan practitioners, I also attempt to indicate the place of neo-pagans in this configuration.
