History of the Conventual Franciscans sanctuary in Zasław has been well researched. Nonetheless the fact of being the sanctuary of Holly Mary icon and it’s influence on artistic realizations has not been exhaustively researched. In the 18th century the house of Sanguszko emphasized their power by artistic foundations for the Conventual Franciscans church in Zasław. The reason of that should by seen in the fact of being the sanctuary of Holly Mary icon, indeed.
