abstract in Polish:	Idea wymagań na argumenty szablonów pojawiła się w latach dziewięćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku. Od tego czasu prowadzono dyskusje i rozwijano koncepty, ale są one nadal nieobecne w aktualnym standardzie. W tej pracy chciałbym przedstawić koncepty, pokazać ich historię i spróbować wytłumaczyć, dlaczego jeszcze nie są w pełni zaimplementowane, pomimo ich prostej definicji i wartościowego zastosowania.
abstract in English:	An idea of constraining templates’ arguments goes back to 1990s. Since that time the concepts were discussed and developed but they are still absent in the current standard. In this paper I would like to introduce the concepts, take a tour through the history and try to explain why they have not been fully implemented yet, despite their quite easy definition and valuable application.
