Praca licencjacka dotyczy dzielenia się informacją w fandomie Harry’ego Pottera (tzw. Potterheads) na platformie mikroblogowej tumblr (https://www.tumblr.com/). W rozdziale pierwszym przedstawiona jest sama platforma tumblr. Nakreślono tam też historię oraz charakter zjawiska fandomu obecnego w Internecie, w tym na social media, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem platformy tumblr. W rozdziale drugim, na podstawie doświadczeń własnychautorki, a także badań przeprowadzonych w formie ankiety oraz obserwacji uczestniczącej, określone są główne typy komunikatów, jakimi posługują się obecni na tumblr fandomowicze. Wyjaśnione zostało podejście Potterheads do mechanizmów komunikacyjnych obecnych na platformie oraz zachodzących tam procesów informacyjnych, w których uczestniczą. W rozdziale trzecim zaproponowano pewne rozwiązania, zarówno z zakresu inżynierii socjologicznej, jak i usprawnień technologicznych, mające na celu zwiększenie efektywności oraz płynności komunikacji zachodzącej na tumblr. Jest to temat stosunkowo mało zbadany z perspektywy zachowań informacyjnych, dlatego warto podjąć próby opisania zjawiska fandomu i tego, jak się komunikuje ze sobą; taki też cel miała niniejsza praca.

This bachelor paper concerns information sharing within the Harry Potter fandom (so-called Potterheads) on the tumblr microblogging platform (https://www.tumblr.com/). Chapter one introduces the platform, as well as describes the history and character of fandom present on the Internet, including social media, focusing especially on the tumblr fandoms. Chapter two describes main types of communication in use amidst Potterheads on tumblr, basing on original experiences of the author and the research conducted for the needs of this paper, which consisted of a survey and participant observation. Potterheads’ approach to communication mechanisms on the platform is also explained; together with information processes they take part in on tumblr. Chapter three makes an attempt to propose certain solutions, from the field of social engineering as well as technological improvements, aiming to increase the effectiveness and fluidity of the tumblr communication. It is relatively rare topic in scientific literature, approached from the information behavior perspective. As such, it is worth making the effort to describe and analyze internal fandom communication; such is the core purpose of this paper.
