Wstęp: Jednym z głównych problemów pacjentów chorych na raka przełyku jestniedrożność przełyku całkowita lub częściowa, a co się z tym wiąże niemożnośćprzyjmowania pokarmu w sposób naturalny. Przeprowadzenie zabiegu założenia gastrostomiibezpośrednio do żołądka umożliwia dostarczenie potrzebnych składników pokarmowych, niepowodując wyniszczenia organizmu oraz przywracając odpowiednią masę ciała pacjenta.Cel pracy: Celem pracy było opracowanie i przedstawienie modelu opieki nad pacjentemz założoną gastrostomią w wyniku nowotworu przełyku. W modelu wykorzystano teoriędeficytu samoopieki Dorothei Orem, uwzględniając diagnozy pielęgniarskie, cele działań,interwencje pielęgniarskie, a także oczekiwane efekty działań. W części wstępnejpoprzedzającej model opieki przedstawiono podstawy kliniczne raka przełyku. Kolejnoomówiono wskazania i przeciwwskazania wytworzenia gastrostomii, ewentualne wystąpieniepowikłań oraz korzyści w aspekcie jakości życia pacjenta.Materiał i metody: Podczas pisania pracy wykorzystano publikacje oraz teksty naukowe,stosując metodę analizy dokumentacji.Wyniki: W opracowanym modelu opieki nad chorym z założoną gastrostomią w wynikuraka przełyku wyodrębniono szereg diagnoz pielęgniarskich. Do najistotniejszych należązmiany na skórze wokół gastrostomii, a także ryzyko powikłań wynikającychz funkcjonowania gastrostomii oraz diety np. niedrożność lub mechaniczne uszkodzeniegastrostomii, biegunki, zaparcia, jak również brak akceptacji założonej gastrostomii.Wnioski: W przedstawionych interwencjach w modelu opieki w oparciu o teorię DorotheiOrem, ważnym zadaniem jest zmniejszenie ryzyka powstania powikłań wynikającychz funkcjonowania gastrostomii, przygotowania chorego do samoopieki, a tym samymzapewnienie choremu lepszej jakości życia.Słowa kluczowe: rak przełyku, gastrostomia

Introduction: One of the main problems of patients with esophageal cancer esophagealobstruction is total or partial, and what this entails the impossibility of food intake in a naturalway. In the model, the theory ofself-care deficit Dorothea Orem, taking into account the diagnosis nursing action objectives,nursing interventions, as well as the expected effects of actions. In the initial pre- care modelshown clinical basis of cancer of the esophagus. Successively discuss indications andcontraindications gastrostomy, the possible occurrence of complications, and the benefits interms of quality of life of the patient.Material and Methods: When writing the work was used publications and scientifictexts, using the method of analysis of the documentation.Results: In the developed model of care for patients with established gastrostomy due toesophageal cancer diagnoses they extracted a number of nursing.
