Celem pracy jest zbadanie dynamiki konkretnej funkcji określonej na przestrzeni dyskretnej liczb całkowitych, pojawiającej się w naturalny sposób przy matematycznej analizie pewnych gier karcianych. Praca jest podzielona na cztery rozdziały. Pierwszy z nich zawiera podstawowe definicje i twierdzenia oraz ogólną charakteryzację dyskretnych układów dynamicznych. Drugi rozdział został poświęcony matematycznemu opisowi dwóch gier karcianych, dla których wyprowadzono zależności rekurencyjne pozwalające opisać wzorem ich przebieg. Te wzory rekurencyjne wygenerowały dwa dyskretne układy dynamiczne, których własności zostały opisane w rozdziale trzecim. Ostatni rozdział zawiera charakterystykę funkcji podłoga i sufit.

The aim of this thesis is to study dynamics of a specific function defined on the set of integers Z, which appeared naturally in the context of the analysis of card games. The thesis has been divided into four chapters. The first one contains basic definitions, propositions and a general characterization of discrete dynamical systems. The second one presents descriptions of two card games from the mathematical point of view. Recurrence formulas have been derived for these card games. The formulas can be interpreted as a discrete dynamical systems which have been analysed in the third chapter. The last chapter contains characterization of the floor and ceiling functions.
