Phenomenon of music programmes such as talent show as an example of formats "Idol" and "X Factor"

Celem mojej pracy jest przedstawienie fenomenu muzycznych programów typu talent show na przykładzie wybranych formatów "Idol" i "X Factor". W pracy są zawarte rozważania na temat historii rozwoju mediów, w tym telewizji. Pojawia się również opis telewizyjnego medium w ujęciu kulturowym. Badając fenomen formatów, nie zapomniano o opisie struktury telewizyjnego widowiska typu show, scenariuszu programu i roli widza. Czytelnik może dowiedzieć się więcej na temat historii programów typu show: reality show, talk show, game show i talent show. Analiza muzycznych programów "Idol" i "X Factor" pomaga wysnuć wnioski na ich temat, roli w telewizji i społeczeństwie. Autorka pracy zastanawia się nad mieszaniem w realizacjach prawdy z wykreowanym światem. Jej uwagę zwracają szczególne mechanizmy, jakimi kierują się twórcy takich programów. The aim of my work is to present the phenomenon of musical talent show-type programmes on selected formats: "Idol" and "X Factor". In this work there are included reflections about the history and whole development of media, including television. There is also a description of the television medium in terms of culture. By studying the phenomenon of formats, not forgotten the description of the TV-shows structure, the scenario of the programm and the role of the viewer. The reader can learn more about the history of the show-type programs, like: reality shows, talk shows, game shows and talent shows. Analysis of musical programs like "Idol" and "X Factor" helped to draw conclusions about them, the role of television and functions of those programs being for society. The author of the work wonders about mixxing the truth and artificially-created world on TV music talent show. Her attention is drawn a specific mechanisms, which are guided by the creators of such programmes. The study of the phenomenon of music programmes such as talent shows can let getting the answer for important question: whether the participants have their chance to fulfill their music dreams or not?
