Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest ustaleniu aktualnego stosunku studentów wybranych krakowskich uczelni wobec Rosjan i Rosji na tle pozostałych sąsiednich narodów. Jako stosunek, będzie rozumiane tu zarówno poczucie „obcości” wobec Rosjan, jak i opinie wyrażane na ich, oraz ich państwa temat. Będę starał się w niej określić na ile Rosjanie są „obcy” moim badanym oraz jakie czynniki się na to składają. Kluczową dla tej pracy jest koncepcja „obcości” w ujęciu Ewy Nowickiej. Praca ta oparta będzie o wyniki badań własnych, zrealizowanych na próbie 100 studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego oraz Krakowskiej Akademii imienia Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego.

The aim of this thesis is to ascertain the attitude of selected Cracow Universities students toward the Russians and Russia as compared to other neighbouring nations. The term attitude is to be understood as the sense of “otherness” towards the Russians along with opinions on them and their country. I will try to estimate to what extent the Russians are perceived as “others” by my respondents. Moreover, I will specify what factors determine their opinion. Ewa Nowicka’s term “otherness” is a key concept in this thesis. This thesis will be based on the results of research carried out on a hundred of students, both of the Jagiellonian University and Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.
