Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie zmian w systemie instytucjonalnym Unii Europejskiej, ustanowionych na mocy Traktatu z Lizbony. Najważniejszą reformą ustrojową dokonaną na jego mocy było nadanie Unii Europejskiej osobowości prawnej, a tym samym przyznanie jej statusu organizacji międzynarodowej i likwidacji struktury filarowej, czego następstwem były zmiany w systemie instytucjonalnym Unii Europejskiej. Miały one zapewnić i usprawnić funkcjonowanie organizacji. Swoją pracę podzieliłam na cztery rozdziały. W każdym z nich omówione zostały zmiany dokonane na mocy Traktatu z Lizbony w instytucjach międzyrządowych oraz instytucjach i organach ponadnarodowych Unii Europejskiej.

The topic of this dissertation are the changes in the institutions and bodies of European Union, established on the power of Lisbon Treaty. The most important change on its power is granting the EU a legal personalityband eliminating the pillar structure. In consequence, these have led to the changes in its bodies and institutions in order to improve the functioning of the organisation. I have divided my paper in four chapters in each presenting the changes introduced by the Lisbon Treaty in the intergovernmental organisations and institutions as well as in the transnational bodies and institutions of European Union.
