dc.abstract.pl W niniejszej pracy podejmowany jest problem rekonstrukcji na przykładzie Pałacu Saskiego w Warszawie, a także słuszność jego odbudowy względem współczesnych doktryn konserwatorskich. Poruszane są kwestie teoretyczne jak i praktyczne w postępowaniu ze zniszczonymi zabytkami na przestrzeni dziejów oraz tendencje jakie wykrystalizowały się z tych rozważań. Rekonstrukcje powinny być przeprowadzane tylko w ostateczności, wywołane jakąś istotną potrzebą społeczną. Nie jako robionego coś powszechnie. Jednak każde zjawisko odtwarzania zniszczonej substancji zabytkowej powinno być indywidualnie rozpatrzone i przeanalizowane, aby dać jak najwierniejszą kopię utraconego obiektu. W mojej pracy staram się zweryfikować argumenty broniące obecnego krajobrazu placu Piłsudskiego w Warszawie jak i te przemawiające za odbudową Pałacu Saskiego. pl
dc.abstract.en This thesis takes on the problem of reconstruction on the example of the Saxon Palace in Warsaw, including rightness of its reconstruction with regard to contemporary conservator's doctrines. The author brought up theoretical as well as practical issues about dealing with destroyed monuments through the ages and tendencies which crystallised from these deliberations. Reconstructions should be conducted only as a last resort, triggered with some substantial social need. Not as done something universally. However every occurrence of reconstructing destroyed historic substance should be individually considered and analysed in order to give the most faithful copy of the lost object. At my thesis I am trying to validate arguments defending the current landscape of the square of Piłsudski in Warsaw as well as the ones speaking for the reconstruction of the Saxon Palace. pl
