dc.abstract.pl Praca przedstawia rozważania teoretyczne nad specyfiką działalności w instytucji penitencjarnej oraz zjawiskiem wypalenia zawodowego funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej. Opracowanie, zawiera również empiryczną analizę omawianego syndromu.Za główny cel pracy przyjęto prezentację zjawiska wypalenia zawodowego w kontekście podmiotowym oraz sytuacyjnym. Założono, że personel penitencjarny, z uwagi na trudne warunki pracy, doświadcza wyczerpania sił, szczególnie w wymiarze obniżonego poczucia satysfakcji z osiągnięć.W części teoretycznej, przedstawiono podstawę prawną działalności Służby Więziennej, główne cechy instytucji totalnej oraz zadania personelu penitencjarnego. Zwrócono uwagę, że trudności zawodowe funkcjonariuszy, mogą determinować pojawienie się syndromu wypalenia. Z tego względu, w dalszej części omówiono główne koncepcje zjawiska, jego konsekwencje oraz czynniki determinujące.Uzyskane wyniki badań, pozwoliły na wyprowadzenie wniosku o istnieniu syndromu wypalenia w środowisku Służby Więziennej. Ponadto, umożliwiły wskazanie czynników oddziałujących na wyczerpanie oraz zmiennych różnicujących jego poziom. W oparciu o przeprowadzone analizy, zaproponowano działania mające na celu profilaktykę zjawiska wypalenia w pracy zawodowej. pl
dc.abstract.en Publication presents the theoretical considerations on the specifics of working in penitentiary institutions and the burnout syndrome among the Prison Service officers. This document also includes an empirical analysis of mentioned syndrome.The main aim of this publication is to present the phenomenon of burnout in the personal and situational context. It was assumed that the penitentiary personnel, due to difficult working conditions, is experiencing the burnout syndrome, especially in the dimension of sense of satisfaction from the achievements.The theoretical part is to show the main characteristics of a total institution, and the tasks of the penitentiary personnel. It is argued that the difficulties at work can cause by the appearance of burnout syndrome. Therefore, the main concept of this syndrome has been described with details, together with its consequences and determinants.The conclusion about the existence of burnout syndrome in an environment Prison Service was confirmed in the results of the research. Furthermore, the factors with influence on burnout syndrome were also identified in the personal and situational context. pl
