Przemiany obrzędów pogrzebowych we wsi Chłopice od końca XIX wieku do współczesności

Praca opisuje przemiany jakie zaszły w obrzędzie pogrzebowym we wsi Chłopice. Bazując na materiałach pisemnych, a także na badaniach terenowych autor prezentuje stan rytuałów związanych z grzebaniem zmarłych od końca XIX wieku do II wojny światowej, w latach 1939 – 1989 i od 1989 roku do dnia dzisiejszego. Autor analizuje elementy rytuału pogrzebowego takie jak wyobrażenia na temat śmierci i duszy, zgon, ubiór zmarłego, przebieg czuwania przy zwłokach, kondukt pogrzebowy, obrzędy na cmentarzu, wygląd grobu, poczęstunek po pogrzebie, żałoba, czy święta zmarłych.
This paper describes the transformation of a funeral rites that took place in Chłopice village. Based on written materials and field studies author presents state of the rites related to burying the dead from 19th century to Second World War, in the years 1939-1989 and from 1989 to the present day. Author analyses the following elements of the funeral rites: image of dead and soul, death, clothing for the deceased, process of watching over the corpse, funeral procession, cemetery rites, grave appearance, repast after the funeral, mourning and All Saints’ Day.
