abstract in Polish:	Praca stanowi szczegółowy przegląd zmian z zakresu ochrony inwestorów jakie czeka europejski rynek finansowy po przyjęciu przez ustawodawcę europejskiego dyrektywy zmieniającej Dyrektywę 2004/39/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z dnia 21 kwietnia 2004 r. w sprawie rynku instrumentów finansowych zmieniającej dyrektywę Rady 85/611/EWG i 93/6/EWG i dyrektywę 2000/12/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego oraz uchylającej dyrektywę Rady 93/22/EWG, a obowiązującej od listopada 2007 r. Odnajdziemy tutaj porównanie aktualnie obowiązujących regulacji prawnych z zakresu ochrony inwestorów z mającą wkrótce wejść w życie nowelizacją. Ponadto w pracy zostały omówione motywy którymi kierował się ustawodawca europejski przyjmując takie a nie inne rozwiązania.
abstract in English:	The work is a detailed overview of developments in the field of investor protection that awaits European financial market after the adoption by the legislature of the European Directive amending Directive 2004/39 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 April 2004. On markets in financial instruments amending Council Directive 85/611 / EEC and 93/6 / EEC and Directive 2000/12 / EC of the European Parliament and repealing Council Directive 93/22 / EEC, and in force since November 2007. We find here a comparison of the current regulations for the protection of investors from having to enter into force soon amendment. In addition, work has been discussed motives which led the European legislator in adopting such and no other solution.
