abstract in Polish:	Mit o zabójstwie Peliasa stanowi jedną z bardziej niezwykłych i okrutnych opowieści w mitologii grecko-rzymskiej. Morderstwo, do którego doprowadza Medea, poruszało wyobraźnię antycznych pisarzy - stąd też pojawiła się potrzeba usystematyzowania informacji odnośnie przekazu mitu i jego różnych przekazów. Praca zbiera wszystkie dostępne obecnie fragmenty tekstów, w których pojawia się motyw zabójstwa Peliasa. Autor pracy wychodzi od najwcześniejszych wzmianek dotyczących samego Peliasa w "Odysei", a kończy na źródłach pochodzących z okresu Cesarstwa Rzymskiego. Omawiane są zarówno większe partie lepiej zachowanych tekstów, takich jak np. "Metamorfozy" Owidiusza, jak i pojedyncze fragmenty przypisywane mniej znanym lub zaginionym dziełom, jak np. "Peliady" Eurypidesa. Jednym z głównych zagadnień, jakie interesują autora, jest właśnie próba określenia fabuły "Peliad", które najprawdopodobniej stanowiły jeden z pierwszych tekstów poświęconych w całości zabójstwu Peliasa i wpłynęły najmocniej na wersję mitu, która przetrwała do naszych czasów. Innym problemem, nad którym pochyla się autor, jest niepewność co do istnienia alternatywnej wersji mitu, w której Medea rzeczywiście dokonywałaby odmłodzenia Peliasa. Autor uznaje w tej dyskusji możliwość istnienia alternatywnej wersji zakończenia za bezpodstawną, podając argumenty przemawiające przeciwko niej. Wszystkie analizowane fragmenty dzieł antycznych są przez autora przetłumaczone.
abstract in English:	The myth about assassination of Pelias is one of the most intriguing and cruel stories in Greek-Roman mythology. The murder, which was prepared by Medea, was inspiring for many ancient writers. Therefore a need has risen to systematize various sources concerning different versions of the myth and its interpretations. The author gathers all available at the moment fragments from the ancient texts that refer to the assassination of Pelias; from the earliest references about Pelias himself, contained in the Homer's "Odyssey", to those written at the height of the Roman Empire. An analysis is included not only of the more extensive fragments from better preserved texts, such as Ovid's "Metamorphoses", but also short excerpts from less known or lost works, such as Euripides' "Peliades". One of the main problems, which the author discusses, is precisely the attempt to describe plot of the "Peliades", since it was probably the earliest text dedicated wholly to the murder of Pelias, which influenced later reception of the myth. Another question, which the author attempts to resolve, is the uncertainty whether the another version of the myth existed, in which Medea successfully rejuvenates Pelias. The author deems such possibility as unfounded and provides arguments against it. All of the analysed fragments of the ancient texts are translated by the author of the paper.
