| abstract in Polish: | Praca jest poświęcona relacjom amerykańsko-radzieckim w okresie prezydentury Ronalda Reagana. Celem pracy jest podsumowanie epoki detente i porównanie jej korzyści z czasami rządów Ronalda Reagana, przedstawienie stosunku prezydenta do komunizmu, ukazanie znaczenia intensyfikacji zbrojeń na czele z programem SDI, a także wykazanie cząstkowego wpływu prezydentury Ronalda Reagana na upadek Związku Radzieckiego. W związku z powyższym w niniejszej pracy omówiona zostanie kwestia realizacji i wpływu doktryny Reagana na geopolityczną sytuację międzynarodową oraz jej wpływ na zakończenie zimnej wojny i doprowadzenie do rozpadu ZSRR. |
| abstract in English: | This thesis is about political relations and political realism between USA and Soviet Union during presidency of Ronald Reagan.The aim of the paper is to summarize the era of detente and to compare its benefits with the benefits of the time of Reagan's presidency. Moreover this work also presents Reagan's attitude towards communism, present the significance of the intensification of the arms at the head of the SDI program and also presents the partial impact of the Ronald Reagan's presidency on the collapse of the Soviet Union. In consideration of the above mentioned this work analyzes the realization and impact od the Reagan's doctrine for the geopolitical international situation and its impact on the closure of the cold war and the collapse of the Soviet Union |
