abstract in Polish:	Celem pracy jest przedstawienie wybranych własności szeregów liczbowych. W pierwszych trzech rozdziałach podano wprowadzające definicje oraz podstawowe i bardziej zaawansowane, a także mniej znane kryteria zbieżności. Następnie pokazano twierdzenia dotyczące permutacji wyrazów szeregu i ich wpływu na zbieżność szeregu. W ostatnim rozdziale zamieszczono przykłady pewnych szeregów liczbowych oraz różne dowody znanych wzorów zapisanych za pomocą szeregów.
abstract in English:	The aim of the paper is to present some properties of number series. In the first three chapters there are given the introductory definitions, basic and more advanced convergence tests, also less known. Next there are shown the theorems concerning the permutation of the terms and their influence on the convergence. In the last chapter there are described examples of some number series and different proofs of known formulas written using series.
