Niniejsza praca podejmuje próbę usystematyzowania pojęć związanych z rachunkowością zabezpieczeń oraz nakreśla podstawowe strategie hedgingowe używane w dzisiejszych czasach.

Due to constant development of the economy the derivatives start to play a key role among enterprises. These complex financial instruments are a difficult challenge. They require to be chosen appropriately depending on the situation in the enterprise. They are also difficult to price and need to be properly entered in the books and taxed. The following thesis tries to systematise all terms related to hedge accounting and outlines basic hedge strategies that are used nowadays.
