abstract in English:	The thesis is a short description of the relations between the two nations mentioned above. It analyses the different aspects of coexistence of these two nations living among themselves on the land of Ireland. The Statute of Kilkenny enacted in 1366 was the English reaction against these English colonists, who decided to adopt to the local customs and with time started losing their Englishness.
abstract in other languages:	Niniejsza praca jest krótkim opisem relacji pomiędzy dwoma wymienionymi nacjami. Analizuje ona różne aspekty współistnienia tych dwóch narodów w Irlandii. Statut z Kilkenny ogłoszony w 1366 r. był angielską reakcją przeciwko tym anglo- normandzkim kolonistom, którzy zdecydowali się zaadaptować do lokalnych zwyczajów zatracając swoją przynależność kulturową.
