abstract in English:	In the thesis, images of Roman Emperors in gliptics have been presented and discussed. In the individual chapters, information about intaglio and cameo portraits of successive Roman Emperors (from Octavian Augustus to Constantine the Great) and members of the imperial families has been presented. Also, gems related to the political propaganda have been described.
