The goal of this master's thesis is to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the yoga lifestyle in Poland and particular dietary choices. Dietary habits were studied with the aid of a survey and compared between two groups: those who practiced yoga and those who did not (a total of 170 people). The survey contained questions regarding multiple areas of yoga. The results of the survey showed that women were more likely to participate in yoga on a regular and frequent basis compared to men (69% of those surveyed were women). Furthermore, 8.1% of respondents were not aware of the type of yoga they practiced and 11.8% did not know any members of yoga. 72.9% of those who practiced yoga considered yoga a form of relaxation compared to 42.9% of people who did not practice yoga. 67.1% of those who practiced yoga considered yoga a form of physical exercise compared to 47.6% of people who did not practice yoga. 76.5% of those who practiced yoga did not know about the basic dietary requirements associated with the practice of yoga compared to 98.8% of people who did not practice yoga. 41.1% of all respondents regularly purchased their groceries in the market. Books, articles and internet pages (a total of 79) related to the broad understanding of yoga were utilized in order to complete this thesis.
