The aim of the article was to present the situation of small and medium-sized tourism enterprises in the perspective of their innovative activity. The paper presents the characteristics of small and medium-sized tourism enterprises and their innovation. Then focus on innovation used in tourism. The paper is based on the study of literature in the field of innovation in tourism and small and medium-sized enterprises as well as analysis of the empirical research of others.
