Multiculturalism for contemporary world, in it is also posing a challenge for the nursing, requiring paying
attention not only from persons looking sick persons after to biological and health needs of patients, but also to their
ethnic inflectedness. Analysis of conditioning of the nursing above the patient of the Indian origin in the ethnic, cultural and religious context. Nurse exercising the patient care of the Indian origin apart from the iatrology should have the knowledge
concerning the cultural circle from which the patient is coming. Thanks to the had knowledge the nurse can gain the sympathy
of the patient, to establish the better contact with him what is not only facilitating the care, but also provides the
sense of security for the sick person. Moreover following Indian principles, as well as the acquaintance and the respect for
the religion and the tradition is essential to show the kindliness and the respect the representative of other culture what
is extremely important in all cross-cultural contacts.
