The article explores submission of literature education to pression of time and
lack of criticism for Mark Prensky’ s pedagogy of “digital native”. The author discusses
it as a possible threat to nurture of young people and argues with understanding
the modernity in teaching only as bringing to schools more and more
technology, stressing the practical use of reading, simplification and a fast rate
of activity. The article presents new tasks of school meetings with literature in
the time of civilization changes.
