Author’s note as textual genre (based on fanfiction published on the Internet)

Celem niniejszej pracy jest stworzenie definicji noty autorskiej jako gatunku tekstu, zgodnie z założeniami genologii lingwistycznej. W związku z tym zawiera ona dokładną analizę tych tekstów pod względem ich budowy, biorąc pod uwagę także wpływ struktury strony internetowej, na której zostały opublikowane; intencji, jaka towarzyszyła ich powstaniu; podobieństwa do istniejących gatunków analogicznych; świata przedstawionego, jaki kreują oraz języka jakim są napisane. Podstawą analizy są noty autorskie fanfiction, przez co wskazane są także elementy, charakterystyczne dla tekstów kultury tworzonych przez fanów.

The goal of this thesis is to create the definition of author’s note as textual genre, according to lingustic genology. The construction, including elements dependent on the type of site on which they were published; the intention with which they were created; the similarity to analog genres; the concepts they create and the language in which they are written were thoroughly analysed. The analysis was based on author’s notes in fanfiction and the element characteristic for art works created by fans were underlined.
