Ratio analysis as a foundation of the financial situation assessment, in the case of enterprise' Komputronik S.A. in 2015-2019

Celem pracy badawczej jest wykazanie przydatności analizy wskaźnikowej w ocenie kondycji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa na przykładzie Komputronik S.A. za okres od 1 kwietnia 2015 r. do 31 marca 2020 r.. Analizę wskaźnikową przeprowadzono przy pomocy sprawozdań finansowych spółki, które publikowane są na koniec każdego roku bilansowego. Na podstawie interpretacji wyników przedstawiono sytuacje finansową firmy. Niniejsza praca została podzielona na część teoretyczną oraz badawczą w celu lepszego spojrzenia na przywoływane zjawisko.W części teoretycznej wyjaśniono pojęcia oraz przedmiot analizy finansowej. Można także dowiedzieć się jakie są rodzaje i metody stosowania takiej analizy. W tym rozdziale zawarto również źródła, z których da się uzyskać informację potrzebne do prawidłowego przeprowadzenia badania.W części praktycznej uwagę skupiono na samej analizie wskaźnikowej. Przybliżono jej istotę oraz znaczenie w rachunkowości. Następnie scharakteryzowano jej podstawowe mierniki a na końcu wyjaśniono analizę piramidalną modelu Du Ponta.Na gruncie przeprowadzonych badań wyznaczono wartości wskaźników takich jak płynność finansowa, operacyjność, poziom zadłużenia i rentowność przedsiębiorstwa. Zastosowano również model Du Ponta. Na koniec wskazano elementy jakie miały wpływ na kształtowanie się poziomu tych wskaźników oraz rekomendację dla analizowanego przedsiębiorstwa.

The aim of the research work is to demonstrate the usefulness of the ratio analysis in assessing the financial condition of the company on the example of Komputronik S.A. for the period from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2020. The ratio analysis was carried out using the company's financial statements, which are published at the end of each reporting year. The financial situation of the company was presented on the basis of the interpretation of the results. This work has been divided into theoretical and research parts in order to better look at the phenomenon cited.The theoretical part explains the concepts and the subject of financial analysis. You can also find out what are the types and methods of applying such an analysis. This chapter also includes sources from which it is possible to obtain information necessary for the proper conduct of a study.In the practical part, attention is focused on the ratio analysis itself. Its essence and importance in accounting were presented. Then, its basic measures were characterized, and finally, the pyramidal analysis of the Du Pont model was explained.On the basis of the conducted research, the values of indicators such as financial liquidity, operability, debt level and enterprise profitability were determined. The Du Pont model was also used. Finally, the elements that influenced the level of these indicators and the recommendation for the analyzed enterprise were indicated.
