Praca magisterska poświęcona jest problematyce standardu złota, oraz gospodarce monetarnej i bankowej. W szczególności praca skupia się na scharakteryzowaniu przyczyn i procesu porzucenia standardu złota, oraz wyszczególnia genezę austriackiej szkoły ekonomii, oraz propozycji tej szkoły. W pracy przedstawiono koncepcje powrotu do standardu złota, a także korzyści z tym związane, zajęto takżę krytyczne stanowisko wobec tej kwestii. W pracy nie zostało sprecyzowane czy należy powrócić do standardu złota czy też nie. W celu zebrania materiałów do pracy wykorzystano studium literatury poświęconej austriackiej szkole ekonomii, gospodarce monetarnej, oraz genezie bankowości.
The Master's thesis is devoted to the issue of gold standard, as well as the monetary and banking economy. In particular, the thesis focuses on characterizing the causes and the process of abandoning the gold standard, and details the origins of the Austrian School of Economics and the proposal of this school. The thesis presents the concepts of return to the gold standard, as well as the benefits connected with it, and also took a critical standpoint on this issue. The work has not been specified whether to return to the gold standard or not. A study of literature devoted to the Austrian School of Economics, the Monetary Economy, and the genesis of banking was used to collect materials for the work.
