Evaluation of the economic and financial situation of a photovoltaic company on the example of Columbus Energy S.A. in the years 2018-2022

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza sytuacji ekonomiczno-finansowej Columbus Energy S.A. W części teoretycznej pracy przedstawione zostaną kluczowe pojęcia i metody analizy ekonomiczno-finansowej, które posłużą jako podstawa do przeprowadzenia oceny sytuacji ekonomiczno-finansowej spółki fotowoltaicznej Columbus Energy S.A. W części empirycznej natomiast przedstawiono wyniki badań, których głównym celem było diagnoza sytuacji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa Columbus Energy S.A. w latach 2018-2022. Podmiotem wybranym do badań była spółka Columbus Energy S.A. Proces badawczy zrealizowano przy zastosowaniu następujących metod i narzędzi badawczych: analiza wskaźnikowa, analiza struktury i dynamiki bilansu, analiza rachunku zysków i strat. Jako główne źródła danych empirycznych wykorzystano sprawozdania finansowe spółki Columbus Energy S.A. w latach 2018-2022. Na podstawie wyników przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że sytuacja ekonomiczno-finansowa badanej spółki uległa znaczącym zmianom w latach 2018-2022.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the economic and financial situation of Columbus Energy S.A. In the theoretical part of the work, key concepts and methods of economic and financial analysis will be presented, which will serve as the basis for assessing the economic and financial situation of the photovoltaic company Columbus Energy S.A., the empirical part presents the results of research, the main purpose of which was to diagnose the financial situation of the Columbus Energy S.A. company. in the years 2018-2022. The entity selected for the study was Columbus Energy S.A. The research process was carried out using the following research methods and tools: ratio analysis, analysis of the structure and dynamics of the balance sheet, analysis of the profit and loss account. The financial statements of Columbus Energy S.A. were used as the main sources of empirical data. in the years 2018-2022. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the economic and financial situation of the audited company changed significantly in the years 2018-2022.
