Nicknames of pupils and school teachers in Równe Primary School in Krosno County

Tematem mojej pracy są przezwiska uczniów i nauczycieli Szkoły Podstawowej w Równem w powiecie krośnieńskim. Celem pracy było poznanie przezwisk funkcjonujących w szkole oraz wskazanie motywacji owych antroponimów. Na podstawie ankiet przeprowadzonych wśród uczniów zgromadziłam 133 przezwiska. Zebrany materiał poddałam analizie formalno-semantycznej, a także skupiłam się na poznaniu źródeł, z których zostały zaczerpnięte przezwiska. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiłam informacje dotyczące miejscowości Równe, a w kolejnym omówiłam zagadnienie onomastyki, a także wskazałam różnice występujące pomiędzy nazwą własną a wyrazem pospolitym oraz opisałam nazwy osobowe. Kolejny rozdział zawiera klasyfikację zebranego materiału, a po nim umieszczono słownik przezwisk. Następnie zanalizowałam zebrany materiał, ukazując motywację antroponimów i przedstawiając źródła inspiracji uczniów. Następnie w zakończeniu wyciągnęłam wnioski.

The subject of this paper concerns the nicknames of pupils and teachers in Primary School in Równe in the county of Krosno. The aim was to familiarize with the aliases which appear in this particular school and to point out the motivation of their use. On the basis of the surveys conducted among pupils, 133 nicknames were gathered. The collected data was analysed in terms of formality and semantics. The origins of particular nicknames were also investigated. The first chapter includes the information concerning Równe as a locality. In the next one, the issue of onomastics was discussed and the differences between a proper noun and a common word were identified. The second chapter also contains personal names which were elaborately described. Another chapter features the classification of the collected data. Furthermore, the paper contains the dicitonary with the nicknames and the analysis, in which the origins of pupils’ inspirations and the motiviation of the use of such names were presented. In the last chapter, the relevant conclusions have been reached.
