POLISH ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION

W pracy podjęta została problematyka polskiej transformacji systemowej zapoczątkowanej w Polsce w latach 80. XX wieku i ukierunkowanej na budowę wolnego rynku oraz demokratyzację życia publicznego.Celem pracy była analiza warunków początkowych, przebiegu i osiągniętego stanu polskiej transformacji gospodarczej, próba zdefiniowania przyczyn decydujących o niezadowalających efektach transformacji, krytyka programu przeprowadzonych reform, porównanie międzynarodowe programów stabilizacyjnych oraz charakterystyka podstawowych błędów w rozumowaniu nt. transformacji.Problematyka będąca przedmiotem pracy opisuje nie wydarzenie, lecz proces, który trwa do dzisiaj i który potrzebuje czasu, zanim wszystkie nowo wprowadzone wzorce, struktury i regulację na płaszczyźnie gospodarczej okrzepną i staną się naszą wizytówką i wzorem do naśladowania.

The author of the thesis deals with the issues of Polish system transformation initiated in Poland in the 1980’s and aimed at the construction of a free market and democratization of public life.The aim of the thesis has been an analysis of initial conditions, course and achieved state of Polish economic transformation, an attempt at defining the causes determining the unsatisfactory results of the transformation, criticism of the programme of reforms carried out, international comparison of stabilization programmes and the characteristics of fundamental errors in the reasoning about the transformation.The issues that are the object of the thesis do not describe an event but the process that has lasted till the present day and that needs time before all the newly introduced models, structures and regulations at the economic level stabilize and become our pride and role model.
