Praca stanowi analizę wybranych opowiadań Jorge Luisa Borgesa. Skupia się ona na dwóch metaliterackich aspektach pojawiających się często w tekstach Borgesa: relacjach między funkcjami czytelnika i autora oraz zatarciu granic pomiędzy rzeczywistością pozaliteracką a fikcją. W analizie autorka wykorzystuje teorię komunikacji Paula Grice'a związaną z implikaturami konwersacyjnymi.
The thesis is an analysis of selected short stories by Jorge Luis Borges. The angle of the analysis is related to the two metaliterary aspects that appear frecuently in Borges’s works: the connections between the functions of the reader and the writer and the fact of blurring the borders betweeen the extraliterary reality and the fiction. In the analysis the author will use the communication theory by Paul Grice that is related to the conversational implicatures.
El trabajo constituye un análisis de los cuentos seleccionados de Jorge Luis Borges. El enfoque del análisis está relacionado con dos aspectos metaliterarios que recurren en la obra de Borges: las conexiones entre las funciones del lector y del escritor y el hecho de borrar los límites entre la realidad extraliteraria y la ficción. En el análisis se usará la teoría de comunicación de Paul Grice relacionada con las implicaturas conversacionales.
