Close or distant? Historical theme in the literary and scientific works of Joanna Papuzińska

Celem pracy jest omówienie tematyki historycznej w twórczości Joanny Papuzińskiej. Analizie poddane zostały utwory literackie i naukowe pisarki. Pierwszy rozdział, w którym przedstawiona została ogólna charakterystyka utworów o tematyce historycznej, stanowi bazę teoretyczną dla dalszych rozważań. Zapoznanie się z dostępną literaturą przedmiotu pozwoliło wykazać, jakie treści były objęte zakazem cenzorskim i tym samym eliminowane z obiegu czytelniczego. W dalszej części zaprezentowano sylwetkę Joanny Papuzińskiej. Podane zostały najważniejsze cechy, tematy oraz zakres jej twórczości. Przybliżono te teksty naukowe badaczki, w których podejmuje tematykę historyczną i przywołuje teksty zapomniane, ale jakże cenne z wychowawczego punktu widzenia. Szczegółowo omówiono książki wspomnieniowe pisarki, poświęcone czasom dzieciństwa, które przypadło na okres wojny i pierwsze lata po wyzwoleniu. Przegląd dorobku literackiego i naukowego Joanny Papuzińskiej pozwolił dostrzec rolę pisarki w propagowaniu edukacji historycznej dzieci i młodzieży.

The aim of this work is to discuss the historical theme in works of Joanna Papuzińska. The analysis included literary and scientific pieces of writer. The first chapter, which presents the general characteristics of the works on historical themes is the theoretical basis for further discussion. Become familiar with the available literature on the subject, allowed to demonstrate what content were banned censor and thus eliminated from circulation readership. In the next part presents the figure of Joanna Papuzińska. Are given the most important features, themes and scope of his works. Approximated these scientific texts of researcher, which takes historical subjects and texts evokes forgotten, but very important from the educational point of view. In detail discussed the reminiscences book of the writer, devoted to the times of childhood, which coincided with the period of the war and the first years after the liberation. Overview literary achievements and scientific works of Joanna Papuzińska allowed to see the writer's role in promoting historical education of children and youth.
