Niniejsza praca magisterska poświęcona jest tematowi humoru przedstawionego w „Za jakie grzechy, Dobry Boże?” Philippe’a de Chauveron w tłumaczeniu audiowizualnym polskim i hiszpańskim. Praca składa się z dwóch głównych rozdziałów – teoretycznego oraz analitycznego. Część teoretyczna zawiera informacje dotyczące tłumaczenia audiowizualnego, jego typów oraz wymagań z nim związanych, roli tłumacza i narzędzi, którymi dysponuje, aby rozwiązać napotkane problemy tłumaczeniowe. To również w tej części pracy poruszona zostanie kwestia humoru, jego definicji oraz tłumaczenia ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem produkcji audiowizualnych. Drugi rozdział niniejszej pracy poświęcony jest analizie wybranych scen filmowych, typu humoru, który przejawiają oraz rozwiązań zaproponowanych przez tłumaczy (zastosowanych technik tłumaczeniowych), by oddać ów efekt humorystyczny w języku docelowym.

The present master’s thesis is dedicated to the subject of the humour presented in “Serial (Bad) Weddings” by Philippe de Chauveron in Polish and Spanish audiovisual translations. The thesis is composed of two principal chapters – theoretical and analytical. The first chapter, which covers the theoretical aspects, contains information about audiovisual translation, its types and restrictions, the translator’s role and tools that can be used to resolve translation problems. Another fundamental part of this chapter is also the several topics surrounding humour, specifically its definition and its translation especially in audiovisual productions. The second chapter of the present thesis consists of an analysis of chosen film scenes according to the type of humour that they manifest, and solutions proposed by Polish and Spanish translators to preserve the humoristic effect in the target language. The thesis will also cover the translation procedures that have been applied.

Le présent mémoire de master est consacré au sujet de l’humour présenté dans « Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au Bon Dieu ? » de Philippe de Chauveron dans les traductions audiovisuelles polonaise et espagnole. Le mémoire est composé de deux chapitres principaux : théorique et analytique. La partie théorique comporte des informations concernant la traduction audiovisuelle, ses types et ses restrictions, ainsi que le rôle du traducteur et les outils dont il dispose afin de résoudre les problèmes de nature traductologiques. C’est également dans cette partie que nous parlerons de l’humour, de sa définition et de sa traduction, notamment dans les productions audiovisuelles. Le deuxième chapitre du présent mémoire consiste à analyser les scènes choisies en fonction du type d’humour qu’elles manifestent et des solutions proposées (procédés de traduction appliqués) par les traducteurs polonais et espagnol afin de conserver leur effet humoristique dans les langues d’arrivée.
