The Senate and the Assembly of Representatives of the Free City of Krakow

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest Senat i Zgromadzenie Reprezentantów Wolnego Miasta Krakowa. Praca dzieli się na 3 części. Pierwsza część dotyczy genezy Wolnego Miasta i jego statusu prawno-międzynarodowego. Druga część odnosi się do Senatu, a ściślej podstaw prawnych funkcjonowania tej instytucji, jej struktury, organizacji i kompetencji. Rozdział trzeci poświęcony został parlamentowi Wolnego Miasta. Podobnie, jak w przypadku władzy wykonawczej omówione zostały podstawy prawne na mocy, których opierał swoją działalność sejm krakowski, jego struktura i kompetencje. W związku z powyższym praca poświęcona została dwóm instytucjom centralnym Wolnego Miasta Krakowa, które łączyły zarówno podobieństwa, jak i różnice, które postaram się wskazać w niniejszej pracy.

The theme of this work is the Senate and the Assembly of Representatives of the Free City of Krakow. Work is divided into 3 parts. The first part deals with the origins of the Free City and its international legal status. The second part refers to the Senate, and more specifically the legal basis for the functioning of the institution, its structure, organization and competence. The third chapter was devoted to the Parliament of the Free City. Similarly, as in the case of the executive discussed the legal basis under which based its activities parliament Krakow, its structure and powers. Therefore, the work was devoted to the two central institutions of the Free City of Krakow, which combined both similarities and differences, which I will try to point out in this paper.
